This was a very fun project that I can't share too much about at the moment, as the publication is still in the works and being finalized. I had seen a really interesting call for submission and thought that it might be a good fit with my process and approach. I was thrilled to be selected and created a number of pieces for the publication. Considering how we capture and cherish memories, methods of communication, research, data and how details are shared, I came up with a number of different images, one an analog collage that was created as I photographed the steps, showing how things can come together, be revised, and come apart. Another was a digital collage with an offering of bits and pieces that could be considered data or a story being shared. I also revisited some analog photographs and previous works, bringing some parts in and out of focus to illustrate the ebb and flow of sharing details and connecting with others (among other themes). I've included one of the pieces that did not get selected below and hope to share more once the book has been published and more details are being shared.
